2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, stir together the peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth, warm, and fully combined.

3. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the rolled oats until every bit is well coated and the mixture is thick and sticky.

4. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared dish, smoothing the top with the back of a spoon or a piece of parchment paper.

5. Chill for 1 to 2 hours until firm, then lift from the dish and cut into squares or bars to serve.
