Apple Pie Biscuit Bombs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces for easier stuffing.
- Separate the biscuits and flatten each one into a 4-inch circle.
- Place about 1–2 tablespoons of apple filling in the center of each biscuit.
- Pull the edges up and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush each biscuit bomb with melted butter.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While still warm, brush with a little more melted butter and roll each biscuit bomb in the cinnamon sugar.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Add more milk if needed for a drizzling consistency.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm biscuit bombs. For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
Serving Tips
- Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans for added crunch.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat for 10–15 seconds in the microwave.
