Wonton Soup 🥟🍜
Ingredients
For the wontons (makes ~30–35)
30–35 wonton wrappers (square, 3-inch)

200 g (7 oz) ground pork (or shrimp/chicken)

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry)

¼ tsp white pepper

1 tsp cornstarch (helps bind)

For the broth
6 cups (1.5 L) low-sodium chicken broth

2 cups water

3 slices fresh ginger

2 cloves garlic, smashed

1 tbsp soy sauce (or to taste)

1 tsp sesame oil

Salt and white pepper to taste

For garnish
2 green onions, thinly sliced

Fresh cilantro leaves

A few drops of chili oil (optional)
